A cool idea on how to increase 4get's privacy appeal and promote open privacy solutions #39

So, right now when 4get shows search results, it presents websites without custom frontends (e.g. reddit instead of libreddit or StackOverflow instead of AnonymousOverflow) - what it could do instead is automatically replacing links to such sites with privacy focused frontends. "Normal" (original frontends) links could be a settings option.
Preferred instances could be additionally randomized, for example with farside tool, so that each search result would generate different instances every time.
Just an idea! Thanks for making 4get!

So, basically, sort of what LibreX (or Y, I don't really know anymore) did? image

Yes, it's a planned feature, along with website filtering in the new rewritten interface. I'll work on it this weekend :)

Ooh! What's it going to be called? (By the way, sorry for the upload; I should've posted it on something like Uguu or whatever. Blunder on my behalf.)

They're just gonna be additional settings. Website filtering rules will be accessible from a dropdown under every website if you wish to filter that website. This thing will create a floating popup where you can customize everything
