With v8, I notice various google scraper errors occasionally. This one seems to be content-specific. If I retry the same search, even with a different proxy, I keep getting the same error.

For example, try this search:

four seasons palm springs

This scraper returned an error:
(getTextContent) Supplied array doesn't contain an innerHTML index
